Sanchita Pandey's Music Academy
Sanchita is also the founder of Sanchita Pandey's Music Academy, a premium online class where she coaches people from all over the world. She specialises in teaching students raagas and Bollywood film songs of varying complexities. She has also created a unique, innovative process to teach students taal (rhythm), which has proven to be great success among students.
The academy originally began in 1990, when Sanchita offered in-person classes to a group of 20 students at her home in New Delhi. After a pause following her marriage in 1998, the academy experienced a glorious revival in 2019, thanks to the success of her YouTube channel and subsequent move to the City of Dreams, Mumbai. Today, the academy has evolved into one-on-one exclusive online sessions, a global destination that welcomes students from the US, UK, Australia, India, Mauritius, and many more countries.

As Sanchita often says: "music is meditation." Singing bhajans is a form of prayer that helps people connect with the divine and rediscover their own authentic selves.
Sanchita was invited to participate in the game show Big Antakshari hosted by Filmfare and Indian TV Academy award-winner Annu Kapoor on 92.7 BIG FM, India's second-largest private radio station.
(Annu Kapoor is one of India's most iconic and longest-running TV personalities, with a successful career spanning more 45 years. As a teenager, Sanchita used to come home from school and listen to his radio shows — so being invited onto the show was a real full-circle moment!)
Original Music
Sanchita began her journey as an indie artist in February 2021, with her debut single, 'Tere Jitne Bhakt'. She also releases accompanying music videos with each of her songs, which you can watch on her YouTube channel.
​Sanchita is the sole songwriter of all her music. She describes her songwriting process as "Sudden bursts of inspiration," which has sometimes led her to write songs in as little as 20 minutes!​
